I offer individual and family psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. Together we work to develop a collaborative approach to treatment helping to identify where you are in life and goal setting. One of the most important factors in treatment is the quality of our therapeutic relationship and learning how this can be helpful to encourage personal growth. You are the expert with regard to your life and it would be a privilege for me to learn about you and start down this path together. In psychotherapy, I have used cognitive-behavioral, Gestalt, mindfulness, transactional analysis, and psychoanalytic approaches depending on what may be most beneficial for you as a person.
I have 5 years of experience as a licensed therapist in various settings within the community and in schools. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strength-based approaches, and utilize a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy. The goal is to provide and foster hope, start a healing process and gain resilience. I also strive to provide emotional support and guidance to adults and young adults specifically, focusing on adjustment issues and significant life changes. I aim to empower my clients to create space, balance, time, and strength to process growth.
Whether facing a short-term situational obstacle or years of navigating anxiety, low self-worth, being in survival mode, confusing relationships, and/or past trauma—with validation and compassionate feedback, we will explore together.
At times the answers may be simple. New coping skills, reframing a situation, or just having a safe place to tell your story. Or maybe the answers are more complex and lead to a deeper dive into the root cause of distress. I may not have met you, but I believe in your capabilities, accept your choices, and respect you as a thoughtful and intelligent person.
